Most OEM's asembly their seals with cut strips of elastomar, glue and staples. The resultant seal is functional and reduces the cost of manufacture. However, the customer pays the price for these techniques with early replacement requirements, frequent downtime, and housekeeping issues from sludge leaks. Compositech's molded seals are made of one solid piece of cast urethane which eliminates the potential for failure at the joining of two pieces.
