About Us

Compositech was established in 1991 by Jeffery Knauss, President and Owner. His many years in the filtration industry and background in engineering provided the foundation for Compositech. The company, dedicated to manufacturing replacement parts for vacuum filtration equipment, took off rapidly and continues to grow with each satisfied customer. Initially Compositech supplied replacement drainage belts, pulleys, rollers, slide strips, grids, seals and multiflex connectors with a focus on improving the performance of filtration equipment originally manufactured by Eimco®. Compositech's capabilities have increased constantly with the design of new and improved products for our customers including replacement parts for most brands of filtration equipment. In our 19th year of operation, Compositech has come a long way. We have added detailed engineering design to our capabilities and we started designing and building our own filters to meet specific customer needs. With an expanded facility and our current staff of engineers, designers, and technical tradesmen, we continually strive to ensure that each filter or replacement part we manufacture is produced to exact specification and delivered on time and at an affordable price. Our goal is for the solutions we provide to consistently meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.

Compositech Facilities

Compositech's main office and assembly area is located at 4531 Main in Pearland, Texas. Initially, Compositech purchased 4 acres of land with 10,000 square feet of air-conditioned manufacturing space and 2,100 square feet of office space at this location.

Compositech remodeled the offices, installed security fencing, concrete parking and hardened approximately two acres with compacted crushed concrete. This facility has served as an assembly and warehouse area as well as corporate offices since November of 1998.

In early 2000, Compositech purchased additional land adjoining the existing Compositech property and fronting on Highway 35 (Main Street.) This property included additional warehouse space and a two thousand square foot mobile office building. The warehouse was modernized to include office space, restrooms, and a cold storage space for shrinkable fabrics. The mobile office was remodeled and has been moved to adjoin the original company office space. Shortly after this purchase, Compositech further expanded the assembly area to  include an area with high ceilings to accommodate two10-ton overhead cranes.

Currently the Compositech facility is sited on 5 acres and contains 18,000 square feet of shop and warehouse space. In addition, this space contains approximately 4,000 square feet of office space.
