| Rotary Drum Filters for Flue Gas Cleaning Compositech drum filters provide efficient, continuous filtration with the operating flexibility to accommodate steel industry flue gas cleaning applications. Our filter's ability to operate with maximum hydraulic flows and a wide range of cycle times allows optimum cake formation in many different slurries. In clarifying applications, very high filtrate clarity can be achieved with precoat discharge designs. For corrosive applications, we offer thermoplastic drum filters for dependable vacuum filtration at a substantially lower cost than filters constructed of exotic metals. All components which contact corrosive agents are made of engineered plastics. The most frequently used discharge arrangements for flue gas cleaning are belt, scraper, and precoat. In addition to the drum filters we produce, we also stock replacement parts for other brands of drum filters. Our inventory includes bearings, wear plates, worms, agitators, motors, valves, drives, scraper blades, discharge rolls and drainage grids for all models of rotary drum filter. We regularly service and maintain a wide range of drum filters from various manufacturers supplying filter media of varied widths and drainage grids specified to fit each individual drum.
We manufacture and stock Compositech spare parts for Ahlstrom, Alar, Ametek, Eimco®, Peterson, Dorr-Oliver®, Komline-Sanderson®, Westech and most other brands of rotary drum filters. Our replacement parts meet or exceed the quality and material of OEM components. Compositech is not an authorized replacement parts supplier or service supplier for Dorr-Oliver® Komline Sanderson®, or Eimco® brands of process equipment or parts therefore. Nor is Compositech in any way associated with FLSmidth A/S or its affiliated entities. All Compositech replacement parts are manufactured by and warranted by Compositech and not by the original equipment manufacturer.
Compositech Hi-Flow Drainage Grids Compositech drum filter drainage grids are designed to offer superior flow in almost every drum filter application. Our Hi-Flow Drainage Grid features a wide open drainage pattern providing optimal flow characteristics without sacrificing filter cloth support. Our grids have approximately 90% open area on the back of the cloth. With tapered openings, the true open area of the grid is 65%, the highest in the industry!  Compositech grids are high pressure injection molded from engineering grade polypropylene. This material translates to greater service life making our grids the premier product for replacement of any O.E.M. drainage grid. Whether you operate an Alar, Ametek, Dorr-Oliver®, Eimco®, Komline-Sanderson®, Peterson, Westech or any other rotary drum filter, Compositech Hi-Flow Drainage Grids are available for your filter. Our drainage grids are available in standard size panels and have interlocking edges to insure continuous cloth support. They are produced in the following thicknesses: 1/2" 5/8" 3/4" 23/32" 13/16" 7/8" 1" 1 1/4"
The grids are ready for direct installation under the division strips or they may be notched to install flush with the division strips for scraper discharge filters. We precut and notch grids for our customers so the grids can simply be slipped into place. We also bond grids together to make larger panels. We have customers who use our grids bonded into panels up to 78" long. Compositech offers the only full line of grids and grid preparation services available to all drum filter users. Our grids are generally cut and notched to customer specification and available for shipment within 48 hours of your order. Full un-cut grids in standard thicknesses can be shipped the same day your order is placed. | |
