Vertical Pressure Filters 
Vertical pressure filters, also called tower filter presses, are the best filtration option when the moisture content of the discharged cake is critical. These robust pressure filters are built to last and are frequently used to deliver maximum production performance in the chemical and mineral processing industry. Vertical pressure filters offer the ability to mechanically squeeze the filter cake to high pressures resulting in extremely dry solids, thus eliminating or dramatically reducing the need for thermal drying. Employing displacement washing, the filters use the lowest possible amount of wash liquid to produce the best possible washing result. In this way, soluble impurities are removed from dewatered solids with maximum economy.
Compositech focuses on designing improved products to optimize vertical pressure filter performance for chemical and mineral processing. Our interlocking polypropylene fiberglass grid panel was designed for application in vertical pressure filters and has been successfully used by our customers for improved filter performance. Compositech grid panels are specifically designed to provide better drainage and offer a larger cross section for less belt drag. In addition to the grid panels, Compositech manufactures plate gaskets, plate blocks, cloth scrapers, and roller scrapers for all makes and models of vertical pressure filters.
