Worm Gears for Drum Filters

Compositech stocks worms and worm gears for all models of drum filters. Drums are driven by a heavy-duty worm gear drive for smooth performance.  The worm gear is operated by a right angle worm which is mounted in brass bearings bolted in the heavy duty drive housing. The worm is held in position by a thrust bearing and thrust spacers. We can ship replacements for any part of the complete gear set and our service crew is also available to disassemble and inspect your drum drive housing.  We install new bearing liners, bearings, spacers, shims, worm wheels, worms, worm shafts and oil seals as necessary.
